It was believed that the Inti Sol was the divine ancestor of the Inca dynasty, considering the Inca Ruler half divinity and half-human being the direct channel a bridge or chakana of communication from the spiritual world, the blood of the sun runs through the veins of the Inca Ruler and his royal family. the Inca had to expand his lineage like the stars in the sky

 The Inti Sol was represented in constructions called WACAS or Sacred places of veneration, today they can be easily known and are called as Temples of the Sun, the most important since the time of the Incas was the current Qorikancha located in the city of Cusco, the Sun was represented by a solar disk made of gold with a human face.

It is said that the Incas celebrated rituals at three times of the day, the first at dawn where the first solar rays illuminate these temples perfectly oriented to the East, the second is exactly at noon, it is said that in the temple of the Sun located in Machupicchu they burned aromatic woods as a symbol of purification and cleanliness, and the third era when the sun was setting to the WEST, many temples and niches are oriented to dismiss the star Rey reflecting in gold plates its brightness, as a symbol of Death, to be reborn to the next day, death and constant change.
